St. Dunstan’s presents their annual Christmas concert on Tuesday December 16 at 7 pm. This gift to the city of Charlottetown features a 45 voice chorus from across the Island accompanied by a 35 piece orchestra conducted by Leo Marchildon. This year the program will include Saint-Saens' Christmas Oratorio featuring soloists Kara Callaghan, Sylvia Mutch, Victor Cal y Mayor, Ian Solomon and Travis Boudeau. Balancing out the program will be “The Wonder of Christmas”, a cantata which offers a fresh spin on such classics as Go Tell It on the Mountain, We Three Kings, I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day, I Wonder as I Wander, and the Wexford Carol. The highlight of the evening is Silent Night by candlelight. Admission is by donation. Due to the popularity of this event, it is recommended to show up early to secure a seat.
