Music ministry at the Basilica is under the direction of Leo Marchildon, Director of Music for the Diocese of Charlottetown.

Each of the three celebrations of Sunday Eucharist have a uniquely distinct musical flavor. The vigil Mass on Saturday evening is accompanied by solo cantor and organ, whereas the Sunday morning Mass features a vibrant 30 voice SATB choir. Both of these liturgies feature a blend of traditional and contemporary repertoire. A recently established youth ensemble periodically provides music for both the Saturday vigil Mass and Sunday morning Mass (combined with the Adult Choir). Music ministry at the Sunday evening Mass is led by David Rashed and his contemporary ensemble.
